Call for abstracts

Abstract submissions have now closed

The theme for the 2021 NZRA Conference is ‘Achieving Equity in Rehabilitation’.

We would like you to carefully consider the following as you submit your abstracts and prepare your contributions:

  • Highlighting clinical rehabilitation practices, services and/or research that seeks to achieve equity of access and/or outcomes
  • Ensuring that listeners are left with clear and practical applications and take-aways
  • Providing opportunities for ‘active learning’ – including interaction and dialogue - within the various presentations

Throughout the conference we would like to hear diverse voices and perspectives. This means we REALLY WANT to receive submissions from a wide variety of clinicians, people with lived experience, planners, funders, and researchers. We are also committed to ensuring that Māori, Pasifika, people with lived experience of disability, and people working in rural settings are able to participate in the conference.
